A witness to the final moments of Brian Chira is sharing his account. Speaking to Presenter Ali in an interview, the man described how he arrived outside a popular club around 2:53 am.

"I arrived and found Brian being ejected from the club because they were closing. Seeing him in that state, I knew it was Brian. He was on the ground, clearly intoxicated. So I called out to him, 'Brian!' and he responded. He asked for my help."

Upon the establishment's guards seeking confirmation of their acquaintance with Brian, the man assured them.

"Brian asked for my assistance. The security guards asked for assurance that I knew him, and I confirmed."

The man expressed concern about Brian's intoxicated condition.

"I was initially heading in a different direction, intending to leave him there. However, due to his drunkenness, he requested that I give him a lift. I agreed, and he got on the bike behind me. We reached the Gacharage junction, where I intended to divert to head home."

"Brian was headed in a different direction, and I planned to leave him there. But because he was heavily intoxicated, he pleaded with me to take him further."

The witness asked the boda boda rider to adjust so Brian could sit comfortably.

"After moving him, we reached a point where he asked to alight the motorcycle and requested his fare. As he stepped a couple of paces forward, a vehicle emerged and struck him."
