Social media influencer and businesswoman Yvette Obura has finally addressed viral speculations that suggested that her baby daddy Bahati bought her car last year.

Speaking to Mpasho’s Kalondu, Mama Mueni sought to clarify that she bought the car with her own money.

“Last year I bought a car and people said that someone else had bought it for me…I work for my money and let me make this thing clear today, I bought my own car with my own money,” she said.

She went on to mention that she could have bought a bigger car if she had a lot of money.

“People in the comment section were like ‘It has been bought for you’ I bought the car by myself.

“Actually ni venye tu sina pesa nyingi I could have bought a bigger car,” she said.

Ms Obura further stated that people should stop speculating when they don’t know the whole story.

“People should stop giving credit to other people…I did not feel bad that people were saying that because I know social media will always be social media.

Some people think I’m broke and I’m not saying this in a bad way, buying a car is not a big deal. Nowadays we have cars that go for Sh500K. So when people said someone else had bought me a car, I just said to myself, I wish they knew," Yvette Obura stated.

She finished off by saying; “I’m not broke and I’m not rich but I’m very okay,’.
