Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone, has finally addressed the issue of changes in his body that have been worrying his fans for some time.

For the first time, Chameleone was able to talk about the rapid weight loss and changes in the skin on his face, which appeared to be signs of poor health.

When videos showing Chameleone in a different state surfaced, many people associated his condition with various lifestyle choices, including excessive drinking, separation from his wife, and stress among other factors.

However, Chameleone says he started losing weight rapidly after he stopped eating pork.

"Someone asked what Chameleone eats, I stopped eating pork," said the hitmaker of Valu Valu. "That's why I had a little problem."

Meanwhile, Chameleone revealed this while performing at a concert where he also explained why he charges more than usual for his upcoming show.

"People are asking why I'm charging $100 (approximately Sh 13k)," Chameleone said in a video seen by this journalist.

"You want to see things like those you see at Davido's shows but you've only paid 700. As a fan, pay more so that the artist can also do better things."

The 'Tubonge' hitmaker announced his concert in February.

The show, titled 'Legends in Gold: We Love Chameleone', is set to take place on August 31.

The ticket prices will range from $100 to $3000.
