Renowned NTV Journalist Rita Tinina is dead

Esteemed journalist Rita Tinina, known for her work at NTV, has tragically passed away. Her body was discovered at her home in Kileleshwa, Nairobi on Sunday, March 17th, 2024.

Rita was anticipated to be at NTV for work, but her absence raised concerns among management, prompting them to check on her welfare.

Upon arriving at her residence, they found her lifeless. The exact cause of her death remains shrouded in mystery, pending investigation by the authorities.

Tinina's grieving family was present as her body was taken to the mortuary for further examination.

Tinina had a distinguished career in journalism, including stints at both KTN and NTV. She rejoined Nation Media Group's NTV in October 2023, having previously worked at Standard Group Limited.

Tinina was highly regarded within the industry, earning accolades from viewers for her exceptional reporting skills.

She held a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Nairobi (UoN).

Throughout her tenure at NTV, Tinina's dedication and talent propelled her to become one of the top 10 news anchorwomen in the country.
