Comedian and activist Eric Omondi has announced his desire to hold a reconciliation process between Mungai Eve and her former partner, Director Trevor.

Omondi revealed this during an interview with Trudy Kitui, he stated that he played a significant role in the growth of Eve Mungai's channel and her relationship with Trevor since their inception in the online news industry.

Referring to himself as a father figure in their lives, Omondi said he has every right to ensure he has a say in the relationship between the two, which is said to have deteriorated several weeks ago, culminating recently when Trevor decided to remove Mungai from her job and rename the YouTube channel.

The activist stated that he is waiting for Mungai Eve to return from Zanzibar to organize a joint meeting and ensure they reconcile.

Even if they don't rekindle their romantic relationship, he will ensure an agreement for working together is reached.

"In the matter of Eve and Trevor, I think I have the right to speak. I want to talk to both Eve and Trevor because I've nurtured them. I want to buy them food forcibly," he said.

"I know the norm is that when people break up, they become enemies, but for Trevor and Eve, they must work together. If they won't work together, let them reconcile or become friends.

I am not forcing them, but it's something I believe I will ensure happens," Omondi said.

He mentioned that he would bring them together, buy them Nyama Choma (roasted meat), and remind them of where they came from while emphasizing that he is not forcing them to get back together but rather urging them not to harbor resentment.

Recently, Trevor responded to his fans, stating that he had already changed the name of the Facebook account and YouTube channel from Mungai Eve to Kenya Online Media.

Trevor clarified that Mungai Eve's services had come to an end and were no longer needed on the channel, leading to her departure.
